According to Mel over at Beansprouts tomorrow is buy nothing day. I believe her, she’s wise like that!
I like her wanted to get the Guardian as it has a baking supplement. Now of course I’m considering not. We have a second issue with regards not buying tomorrow. Tom has a DIY competent friend (R) coming [...]

Tom put my cauliflowers out today I’m a little bit worried for them. It’s getting chilly now so I’ll go get them in but I’m worried that they went out in the first place…. I really want these to succeed. Cauliflower is just about the only veg my pregnant stomach can tolerate and [...]

Although we don’t watch a huge amount of television I do think Boo watches far too much. Generally we watch a handful of programmes. Me – CSI mainly with occasional Home & Away and Neighbours stints. Tom – Heroes and Spooks, the girls – Friends. But Boo, Boo is another matter, she can name characters [...]

It’s been a busy time this last week or so.
Firstly the whole of last week was taken up organising and preparing for the NCT Nearly New Sale that took place on Sunday. Considering it was a new venue it worked pretty well. Profit was down on the previous sale but all the sellers said they [...]

I thought I’d let you in on a couple of my scrapstore favourites…
I think this is probably my favourite of all! I’m just looking for the right occasion now to wear it. I think maybe a little time travel might be in order but hey, I’m up for it!
I’m not quite sure what I’m [...]

Girls went out with their dad today. We always seem to get lost not knowing what to do when they’re gone. Boo said before they left that she wanted to do painting so that’s what we thought we’d be doing, we didn’t though.
First Tom had to rush out to get mushrooms and sherry for [...]
Village bonfire and late night walk (well not so late)
Posted in Walks on November 12, 2007 | Leave a Comment »
So, last night was our village bonfire night. I, in my state of minor insanity thought it would be a good idea to walk there. I suggested it, met a little resistance but overall it was agreed. We would wrap up warm and walk.
Slight spanner in the works was Boo’s illness this week with ear [...]

As a family we’ve been members of our local scrapstore since February this year. Unfortunately I didn’t really find the time to get down there very often until recently. Now, I do. I love it. I’ve picked up loads of wool, enough to make whole jumpers (which I will do very soon).
Noise made her [...]
Sunday walks and knitting experiments

Sunday seems to be our day for walks, yesterday Tom came up with the wonderful idea of heading to the Cuckoo Trail where Noise would be able to roller blade and Muffin could ride her bike while Boo stayed warmly tucked into her pushchair wearing her ‘experimental jumper’. It was great, we parked up at [...]
